BLOGGER // ANDREA LITSCH
Jun 06, 2014

There was about 30 seconds between first seeing Andrea Litsch's blog, Stylist Adventures with AL and sending her an email to invite her to join the D'Marie Publisher Network. Her images and style is just pure fun. We live for it! Read more about Andrea in the below interview.

DM: Start from the beginning... Why/When did you start Stylist Adventures with AL?

AL: I first started blogging in 2013 as a place to share my passion for fashion, pretty things, and  somewhat healthy and easy to make recipes. I try to incorporate a personal element to each post, so my family and friends can stay up to date about my life and new readers can get to know me better.

DM: Tell us about a successful experience working with a blogger network, brand or advertiser on your website. Why do you think it was successful?

AL: I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Tiny Prints for a Mother’s Day post. I have been a Tiny Prints customer for the past couple years for various holiday cards, and it was such a treat to work with a brand that I love and am a loyal customer of.

DM: Describe your personal style. Who are your personal style influencers?

AL: My personal style is classic infused with trend. I love to see what each new season brings to the fashion world, but like to incorporate a select few new pieces with the classic staples I already own and love. I also have a strong love for deal hunting. Sometimes this means scoring something fabulous at TJ Maxx, and other times it means finding the perfect pair of jeans at a Nordstrom sale for 40% off.

My style influences are women whose style I admire and inspires me to branch out from my comfort zone. I’m always interested to see what Olivia Palermo, Blake Lively, Helena from Brooklyn Blonde, Julia from Gal Meets Glam, Rachel from Pink Peonies, and Kat from With Love From Kat are wearing.

DM: What is your goal with the blog?

AL: I want my blog to be an inspirational and fun destination for women. Some days that might mean learning about a fabulous deal that is too good to pass up, another day it might be a simple recipe to make for dinner, or it could be a laugh from a ridiculous personal story that I had to share. I want Stylish Adventures with AL to be a friend women want to return to just to see what’s going on.

DM: Describe the differences between Canadian and Florida fashion. Do you have a preference?

AL: As a born and raised fashion-loving Torontonian, I grew up reading In Style and shopping stores merchandised with the leading fashion trends. I find that in Florida the style is a touch more…causal…not in an offensive way, but that I need to know exactly what I want when looking for a trend in a store. I have to say though, hands down the sales are better, and most items at full price are still cheaper than in Canada. As an avid deal hunter this is a major plus for me!
