I’ve been dying to share more about this wonderful blogger from the Chicago area. Shaheen is the editor of the fashion blog, Lows to Luxe. As the name implies, the premise of the blog is demonstrate how to style a wardrobe mixed with inexpensive basics, luxury statement pieces and the occasional fancy accessory. Her dedication to authenticity makes her blog posts and street style images a pleasure to peruse. 

“I hope my blog gives viewers some style inspiration. The purpose is to show how I regularly dress myself. I believe that even if you have 15 luxury images, putting them together isn’t style. Money spent is not style. You have to create your own look and do what want. I try to photograph what I would wear organically. I never buy items with the intention to only wear for a blog post. That isn’t very organic,” says Shaheen.

Her favorite designers include Minolo Blank for shoes and Chanel for jewelry (a girl after our own heart). In addition to the runway, Shaheen pulls inspiration for her personal style from fellow bloggers like Sincerely Jules and Aimee of Song of Style. You can tell by the tone and voice of her blog that Shaheen is only interested in expressing herself accurately to her audience and then connecting them with others who have similarly edgy points of view, a very valuable trait for any brands who get the opportunity to work with her.
